First Update: Game Announcement


PuduLab is happy to announce that we're creating our first game.

We are a group of 3 college students and this is our first attempt at designing and developing a videogame, wich will be done using the Godot game engine.

The Game, unnamed for now, is a building simulator, in which you are tasked on designing a building with different characteristics such as total occupancy, height, etc. But the winning condition is that it must resist an earthquake of varying magnitudes and types, in order to complete this task you must consider different designs and materials.

Some Ideas:

  1. Custom physics to simulate earthquakes
  2. Difficulty: we need to generate different types of earthquakes to have different levels or configurations.
  3. Create and simulate different types of materials and their reaction to the quakes.
  4. NPCs: buildings should have people living on them, their survival shall be an important factor on the game.

Future devlogs:  devlogs for this game will be posted on a weekly basis.

Potential release: Early December.
